Comics
    Recently(as in the past year or so), i have sparked an interest in comics again.  I used to semi-collect Star Trek and Tales From the Crypt comics when i was around the age of 13 or 14.  But, eventually, i stopped because of financial reasons(i had dick for income), and my lack of desire for these certain comics.  Little did i know then that the one's i collected were not all the one's that existed, not by damned sight.  Early last year my friend who works at a comic store invited me to come down and see what it was like(i had never been to a real one, i got my cheap little reprints of 50's horror comics from Waldenbooks).  So i went, saw quite a few amazing differences from the comic world i assumed and the actual one.  I picked up a few books, he recommended some, and within only a couple months i was hooked again.  This time for good.
 
    PREACHER
This is by far the supreme comic and storyline of the universe.  It's main characters consist of a very traumitized ex-preacher named Jesse Custer, a slacker-party-animal vampire from Ireland called Cassidy, and Custer's sort've current/uncurrent girlfriend, Tulip.  If you are not shocked easily and enjoy sex, violence, and road trips, you need to run out and get the first issue right now.  I bet my you my life that you will    at least feel the need to run all the way back and get the second one.
